1. Don't neglect your martial arts training
It sounds obvious, but if you are practicing a new martial art, such as Muay Thai, or Brazilian Jiu Jitsui, then don't forget to keep up with your first martial art. You can focus too much on your new skills, and forget your old ones.

2. Do more cardio training

3. Eat well

Your body will need time to recover from the gruelling punishment that you put it through. Taking regular rest days will allow your body to recharge, and will make sure that you don't over train, which can completely exhaust you, and also increase the risk of injuries.
